The pillar of HUMAN existence, "AGRICULTURE"
Agriculture is the backbone of Human Existence and it needs to be improved.
Covid-19 has made an adverse effect on 2020, many industries, companies, businesses shut down and many people lost their jobs. It has mostly affected the developing countries mostly the underprivileged people and laborers. When the country was in LOCKDOWN, many laborers died and some stayed hungry for weeks because they were completely dependent on the local food stalls. The privileged ones tried to help but due lack/scarcity of food resources they couldn't. This problem is not just of 2020 but India has been dealing with hunger issues from the past century. Though Over 70% of the rural households depend on agriculture and it contributes about 17% to the total GDP of the Indian economy and provides employment to over 60% of the population still, India ranks 102nd out of 117 qualifying countries in the 2019 global hunger index, which is a serious issue.
India's gross irrigated crop area of 82.6 million hectares (215.6 million acres) is the largest in the world. Still, India lacks in feeding hungry India.
What is the solution?
The only solution to this is to GROW MORE FOOD.
How do we do that?
There are lots of tutorials on YouTube where you can learn how to grow crops.
But... If we need to improve it to the next level, the country should not only have the maximum production but it should be well distributed to every individual to avoid hunger because "All lives matters".
The world's Agronomist and Agricultural Engineers can lead the way in improving food production, maximum yield, improvements in the storage of grains, fruits, vegetables, and meat, Transportation, help connect farm to market, etc.
This will drastically reduce the percentage of food lost and maximize food production.
With the help of Agronomist and Agricultural Engineers in farming, we can live sustainably and can optimize the earth’s harmony living.
